Max CW Ng

Senior Director

Max Ng is the Senior Director of Gateway Law, and is an acclaimed legal expert in his field. He is a fellow with the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution, and also sits on the IP Panel of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, and the Asian International Arbitration Centre. He is listed as a leading lawyer in his field in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific (IP and TMT), Chambers Asia Pacific (IP Litigation), Who’s Who Legal (Franchise), Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific (Dispute Resolution), and Asia Business Law Journal (IP and Fintech). He is also the lead author of the book “Intellectual Property”, now by Lexis Nexis.

Max is also an accredited mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre, an associate mediator under the Law Society Mediation Scheme and sat on the Panel of Trademark Mediators (formerly the Panel of Neutrals) of the International Trademark Association. He is a volunteer mediator with the State Courts of Singapore as well.

In his spare time, he sits as an Independent Director, for companies listed on the Singapore Exchange and provides advice and assistance to the management of these companies, and renders pro bono assistance to charities and non profits.
