Gateway acts as local counsel in cross-border banking and finance transactions. The deals our lawyers have been involved in include syndicated facilities totalling US$1.5 billion to the government of a Southeast Asian country,  a US$29,561,772.66 bill discounting facility involving the lease purchase of helicopters by agencies of the government of a Southeast Asian country, a US$50 million structured bilateral term loan facility to an energy company domiciled in Indonesia, a US$ 100 million uncommitted trade finance facility to a group of companies headquartered in Switzerland, loan facilities involving the trustees of Singapore-listed REITs, and medium term note programmes and offerings of debt securities involving the trustees of Singapore-listed REITs.

Our lawyers have also assisted banks and obligors with multi-jurisdictional receivables purchase transactions, investment portfolio and electronic/digital banking documentation, SWIFT’s Trade Services Utility and Bank Payment Obligations and ESS-Databridge™, property and general working capital loans, and bank standard/template documents.
