Imran is a Director at Gateway Law Corporation and the Head of the Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group. He advises and represents insolvency professionals, creditors, and debtors in both and cross-border restructurings and insolvencies, including contentious and non-contentious matters.

Imran also specialises in dispute resolution and international arbitration. He has advised and successfully represented multinational corporations, public listed companies, and high-net-worth individuals in complex, high-value disputes heard at all levels of the Singapore Courts.

For his work, Imran has received several accolades. He was a finalist for Young Lawyer of the Year (Law Firm) at the ALB SE Asia Law Awards 2025, IFLR1000 recognised him as a ‘Rising Star Partner’ in 2024 and 2025, and asialaw ranked him as a ‘Notable Practitioner’ for restructuring and insolvency in 2025. In 2023, ALB named him a ‘Rising Star’ in Singapore, and LexisNexis included him in its list of Asia’s Top 40 Under 40 Lawyers.

Beyond his professional work, Imran is deeply committed to pro bono and community service. In 2023, he was awarded the Public Service Medal by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam for his contributions to the community. He has also received favourable mentions in the Singapore Parliament by the Minister for Social and Family Development, Mr Masagos Zulkifli, as well as in public speeches by the Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, Mr Ong Ye Kung.
